The area now known as Disney Springs has grown and expanded over the years. There have been many changes added to their parking area. Which includes a safer more convenient walkway and three huge parking garages, so guests no longer have to wonder where to park at Disney Springs.
Disney Springs offers free complimentary parking in the Orange, Lime and Grapefruit Parking Garages as well as three surface parking lots Lemon, Strawberry and Watermelon. If you want to shop near the West Side or Town Center, you will want to park in the Orange Parking Garage. If you want to shop in the Marketplace, you will want to park in either the Lemon, Lime or Grapefruit Parking Garage. Only park in the surface parking lots Watermelon or Strawberry if you are going to the West Side.
Taking a vacation to Disney World in Orlando Florida can be an exciting time for the entire family. While some families travel by plane, others decide to drive.
While driving around Disney World can become quite a challenge, especially if you don’t know where to park or even the cost of parking. If you are taking a break from the theme parks for a day and want to get in some shopping, Disney Springs is just the place for you.
When planning your visit to and from Disney Springs, allow at least 60 minutes of travel time in order to reach your destination on time. You don’t want to miss out on a festive event, show or reservation. Follow the parking signs in order to locate available parking, which may be located just a short walk away from Disney Springs.
Insider Tip
Plan in advance which area of Disney Springs you are going to visit first and then park in the lot that’s closest to that area. If you have reservations to Rainforest Café, you don’t won’t to park all the way over in the Strawberry or Watermelon parking lot because you will have a long walk.

Where To Park At Disney Springs
There are 3 parking garages and 3 surface parking lots at Disney Springs that offer free parking. Each parking lot and garage is named after a fruit that is grown in Florida.
The parking garages are named Orange, Lime, and Grapefruit, and the surface parking lots are named Lemon, Strawberry and Watermelon. Depending on which area of Disney Springs you are going to shop at, you will want to park in the garage nearest that area.
Orange Parking Garage
For the easiest access to the West Side and Town Center, the Orange Parking Garage is the best choice. This is my go-to parking garage because it is located close to the center of Disney Springs plaza.
This way you can easily head to the West Side or East Side depending on which area you want to shop in. Some of the more popular destinations that are closest to the Orange Parking Garage are AMC Theater, the Coca-Cola Store, Planet Hollywood and Splitsville bowling.
Insider Tip
Try to park on level 2 in the parking garage because that is the entrance to Disney Springs. If you park on any other level, you will need to go up or down an elevator or escalator.
Lime Parking Garage
The Lime Parking Garage is on the edge of Disney property, close to many off-site hotels. If you plan to visit the Marketplace, along with the shops and restaurants that are located at the east end of the Town Center and The Landing, then the Lime Parking Garage is the best choice to park.
Grapefruit Parking Garage
The Grapefruit Parking Garage sits across from the Lime Parking Garage on the other side of Buena Vista Drive, and it has a pedestrian bridge to The Marketplace so you can easily cross the busy street. The Grapefruit Garage is convenient to popular locations including World of Disney store, the Lego store, T-Rex Café and Disney Marketplace Co-Op.
Lemon Parking Lot
The Lemon parking lot is the small surface lot near the East Side shopping plaza. This parking lot is the smallest out of all of the parking areas at Disney Springs.
From my experience, this lot is usually always full. It is the closest to the Rainforest Café and the Market Place shops in the East Side, however, I would recommend going one lot over to the Orange Parking garage.
Watermelon Parking Lot
If you are planning to only shopping in the West Side near the House of Blues, then you will want to park in the Watermelon parking lot. This parking lot is directly in front of the old Cirque Du Soleil building.
Strawberry Parking Lot
The Strawberry parking lot is the furthest parking lot on the West Side. Whenever my family goes to Disney Springs, we never park in this lot. We usually shop on the East Side so we would have to walk a very long way.
Some Days Disney Springs gets so busy that this parking lot gets filled up as well. Before heading out to this parking lot, I would first recommend driving through the other parking garages first and follow a family to their car in order to park in their spot.
Insider Tip
If you want to shop in the East Side however you are forced to park in the Strawberry parking lot, get on the boat that takes you across the bay from the West side to the East Side. It will save you time and save your legs.

How Much Does It Cost To Park At Disney Springs
Where Is Free Parking At Disney Springs
Disney Springs offers free complimentary self-parking in the Orange, Lime and Grapefruit Parking Garages as well as their three surface parking lots Lemon, Strawberry and Watermelon.
How Much Is Valet Parking At Disney Springs
Disney Springs does have two additional parking areas which are used for valet and preferred parking.
Inside the Lemon Parking lot, which is located next to the Orange Parking Garage near the World of Disney Store, is where valet parking is available. Valet parking at Disney Springs costs a flat rate of $20 per day. Payment will be collected at the time of pick-up, and gratuity is not included in the cost.
Mango Parking lot is located near the West Side in front of Cirque Du Soleil building. The Mango parking lot is where you can get preferred parking that costs $10.
Directions To Valet Parking
From I-4 westbound, take the Disney Springs exit and head to “Surface Parking.” Then follow the signs to “Valet Parking.” Or, take exit 67 and follow signs to Disney Springs. Continue to follow signs to valet parking.
From I-4 eastbound, exit onto Epcot Center Drive, then turn right onto Buena Vista Drive. Turn left into the Disney Springs entrance across from Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. Then, take your first right turn and follow the signs to “Valet Parking.”
Disney Springs Parking Garage Technology
The parking garages at Disney Springs are especially convenient thanks to the technology that indicates where the available parking spots are located. Digital message boards outside the garages and along Buena Vista Drive will indicate how many parking spaces are available and also when the garages and surface lots are full.
Once you get inside the garages, overhead LED lights above every parking spot will tell you where the spots are available. At the end of each row, there is a sign that will tell you how many spots are available on that row.
Insider Tip
Don’t always trust the sign that shows the number of available spots. I have found many times that the sign showed that there are 0 spots available however there were actually open spots.
Can You Park At Disney Springs If You Are Going To A Theme Park
Since parking at Disney Springs is free, this is a way to get around paying for parking if you are going to a theme park. Check out the article I wrote 3 Ways To Avoid The Cost For Parking At Disney.
You are able to park at Disney Springs all day without worrying about being towed. Then you walk over to the bus station in between the Orange parking garage and the Lime parking lot.
One downside to this is it will not be a quick trip to get into the park. You will have to wait for the bus and then it takes time to travel over to the theme parks.
Then heading home at night, you have to wait for the bus again to transfer over to Disney Springs. However, if this doesn’t bother you, it does save you $25 for not parking at the theme park.
Final Thoughts
There are many options to park when you go to Disney Springs. Whether you want to pay to park with Valet or Preferred parking, or you want free complimentary parking in the parking garages or surface lots.
The main thing to remember is to know which area of Disney Springs you are going to shop in so you can plan accordingly at which parking lot is the closest. If you are unsure and just want to experience all of Disney Springs, consider parking in the Orange parking garage which is in the middle.
